Our Story

Picture of Our Story

Like many modern love stories, ours technically started on a dating app, but that’s not the version we like to tell. Why? Because Madison never responded to Tony’s text.

A month later, our paths crossed again: this time in real life. We ran into each other at a bar, completely out of the blue. It felt too perfectly timed to be random. We know now that it was God gently stepping in and bringing us together in His perfect way.

The next day, Tony put two and two together: Wait… that was the girl from the app. He took a leap of faith and asked Madison out and that message led to our last first date.

From that point on, everything changed. We bonded over sunny beach days, spontaneous adventures, and steak dinners. But more than anything, we found something real; a relationship full of laughter, depth, faith, and the kind of playful joy that makes life feel lighter.

Since then, we’ve grown, through joyful seasons and stretching ones, always coming back to each other with curiosity, grace, and a desire to grow together in our relationship with each other and our relationship with God. Faith is the foundation of everything we do, and one of the greatest blessings in our story has been walking through it spiritually side by side.

Then came the proposal:

While vacationing in St. Kitts, our hotel concierge, Kenya, delivered a note to our room letting us know she had arranged a complimentary champagne toast on the beach before our sunset sail (a thank-you for our Hyatt loyalty). When we arrived, the setup was stunning. Then Tony pulled out a stack of cards from We’re Not Really Strangers, a game we started playing on our second date and continued throughout our relationship. Sitting right on top was a card with four handwritten words: Will you marry me? because of course, he wasted no time. That’s when he got down on one knee and proposed.

It was personal, heartfelt, and one of the easiest “yeses” we’ve ever said.

Now, we’re stepping into forever with excitement and deep gratitude. Our wedding isn’t just a celebration; it’s a covenant. And we can’t wait to begin that journey with the people who’ve cheered us on along the way.
